たまには良い靴を買ってみよう，と思った．

毎日オフィスに通うことのない僕の靴は，正直言っておおむね安物だ．
どんなに立派な革靴だって，ピアノのペダルをばっこんばっこん，車のアクセルをごにょごにょ踏んでりゃあ速攻でボロボロよ．そのうえ雨や黄砂のなかアジアの雑踏を歩きまくるんだから香港で買ったバングラデシュ製のホーキンス・トラベラーで十分だ．
でもね，たまにはお洒落がしたいわけ．

で，買いました．ビルケンシュトックFootprints/コーンウォール．

この御時世，あえて人件費の高いドイツのマイスターによって手縫いされた靴は，決して最先端の流行ではない．つま先の太さなどはむしろ『イモい』くらいかも．しかし，これこそ癒しの履き心地．土踏まずの心地良さはまさに足マッサージ要らず．
これから何年もかけて僕の足に馴染んでくれるのが楽しみ．

とかくファッションやブランドに疎い自分ですが、何故か連れていかれて。ステキな靴達にちょっと惹かれつつも、価格と、何よりも手入れをしなければいけない事を考慮して断念しました。
良いものを長く使う方が良いのはわかってるんですけどね～

足にほんとうになじむ靴に出会うのはけっこう難しいですよね。
自分は履きやすい靴は、靴底が擦れて穴があくとか、かかとが落ちるとか、ソールが折れるとかするまで文字通り履き倒してしまいます。
そこまで一緒だった靴はお気に入りだっただけにゴミとして捨てるときは本当に忍びなく、靴のお焚上げでもしてくれる寺社がないかと探したこともあります。

ちゃんと直してくれる職人を見つけて履き続けるような人いいですよね．

実際にショップで買うととんでもない値段ですが，楽天で買うと安いです（笑）
ただし靴はやっぱり実際に履いてみないと，ヨーロッパのサイズ号は安直には判断しづらい．フランス人なんかはしつっこくしつっこく試着するのが基本です．楽器と同じかも．

コメントありがとう．女性の靴は体重がつま先につま先にとかかるように設計されてますよね．（履いたことのある僕は分かります←変態）ちなみにビルケンシュトックの靴はぜんぶユニセックスなんだよね．女性だからといってヒールの高い靴を履く必要なんて無い．そんな先入観は纏足とおなじです．
それでもヒールの高い靴を履きたいという流行があるのは事実ですが・・・．
